    How do I get started with SWOT?

    From the SWOT website or app, click ‘Register’ and follow the prompts to create your account. To start your free trial, select the ‘SWOT’ or ‘SWOT Zone plan’. To accept payments from clients you must create, or link to your existing, Stripe account. Once logged-in to the SWOT platform, click on the ‘Stripe’ button at any time to set up your secure Stripe account to receive your payments via SWOT.


    What is Stripe and how does the payment portal work?

    Stripe is a global payment processing platform. Millions of businesses of all sizes use Stripe to manage their online payments. Stripe is a certified PCI Level 1 service provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. When you sign up to SWOT, you will be prompted to set up your own secure Stripe account. This allows you to receive payment in 135 different currencies and ensures smooth financial transactions between yourself/your company and your clients located anywhere in the world. Follow the easy-to-use Stripe account set-up. Your name, company name, relevant tax authority number and bank details are necessary to cover all Anti-Money-Laundering requirements. Stripe is operated independently from SWOT. The information you provide to Stripe cannot be accessed by SWOT staff or SWOT users. SWOT staff and other users of SWOT cannot view or access your Stripe Account. Upon payment, your client will receive a system-generated invoice/receipt, saving on your administrative work after every meeting. Your transactions are available to view in your Stripe Account. You can access your Stripe account directly within the SWOT platform.


    Do I have to use the payment portal for every meeting?

    No. For subscribers, when creating each meeting, choose for your clients to pre-authorise payment for your service; or choose to meet clients, family and friends without sending them through the payment portal. Subscribers also enjoy no limits on time or features for every call. Free users can video-conference anyone, anywhere, anytime, at no cost for 90-minutes video only.


    How and when do Hosts receive their payments?

    When setting up your first meeting, you will be prompted to set up your Stripe account. You will be re-directed to Stripe’s interface to complete their steps to set up your account. Any information you input here is not accessible to SWOT users or SWOT employees in any way. When your session has successfully connected* your payment will appear in your Stripe account as ‘Processing’. Payments can take up to 5-7 days to appear in your nominated bank account. If no connection was made between a consultant and client there will be no charges to either party.


    Is my data safe on SWOT?

    Yes, your data security is our priority. SWOT employs robust security measures including https protocol, to protect your information. All communication and transactions are encrypted, ensuring a secure environment for your professional interactions. All payments are completed through Stripe; SWOT does not store any financial information.


    Is SWOT accessible for clients located internationally?

    SWOT is a global online platform. Consult with clients who may be downtown or across the globe. Your personal Stripe account enables you (the consultant) to receive payment from 135 currencies worldwide. These payments are transferred automatically into your local bank account and exchanged to your home currency. It's an ideal solution for expanding your reach and serving clients worldwide.

    Is there a free calling feature?

    What do I get with my 30-day free trial?

    Experience all features of the ‘SWOT’ or ‘SWOT Zone’ plans completely free for your first 30-days. Create your account, log in, and select your plan. You are now free to use all the features of your chosen plan free for 30-days. To choose the plan that is right for you please visit our ‘pricing’ section on the website. Note that if you wish to receive client payments through the payment portal within your trial period, you must create a new, or link to your existing, Stripe account.


    Does Stripe manage my tax requirements?

    Users of SWOT who receive payments through the payment portal are responsible for their own tax declarations and requirements as applicable by the law of their country of residence. Your Stripe account provides clear reporting on payments you have received via conducting your business on SWOT. For more information see our Terms and Conditions.


    Is there a limit on the number of participants in a session?

    There is no limit to the number of participants in a session.


    How can I delete my account and personal information

    Once logged into the mobile app or web app, you can click on the dropdown menu in the top-right corner and select "Delete my account". You're account will be deleted immediately but your personal information will remain in our database for 90 days, after which they will be deleted. Otherwise, you can send us a request to delete your account and personal information by email to support@swot.zone.
