Joan Chan

I recently graduated from the University of Otago with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physiology, with a particular research interest in Alzheimer's disease and epilepsy. I previously graduated with an undergraduate Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honors (BBiomedSciHons) with First Class Honors, majoring in Functional Human Biology. I studied IGCSE and the IB Diploma in middle and high school, so I am very familiar with the curriculums, offering tuition to IB, IGCSE, ATAR and NCEA students in Biology and Chemistry over the last 4-5 years. I have also previously tutored university-level subjects, primarily physiology, anatomy and some cellular/molecular biology-based subjects.
